The Creative Mind is a service providing quality visual arts and craft lessons and workshops to children and adults in the
North West Metro Atlanta area. Serving Cobb, Cherokee, Paulding and Bartow counties. Our professional working artists will
come to your facility and provide classes to children from 4 years through adults. We also provide art instruction in all
media to special needs students. With many years experience working with the community has allowed us to provide a program
that is effective, creative and fun. Our prices are reasonable, with discounts for large classes.
The Creative Mind instructors and staff are all working professional artists with a variety of talents. We offer: Fine Art
Drawing with Graphite and Colored pencils for older children and adults. Drawing on Imagination for younger children. This
class focuses on developing the childs natural imagination and expressing themselves through art. Clay Hand Building for all
ages. Age appropriate classes will show the student how to hand build functional items, items of whimsy. Clay will be fired
and for younger children painted with acrylic paint, for older children and adults you will be able to glaze your creation
and the piece fired again. Painting with Watercolor or Acrylics for all ages. These classes will teach basics of either
medium. Expect to amaze yourself with what you can create. We also offer craft classes for the youngest student. Every week
we will learn to cut, glue, color, paint and make very special stuff. Special classes are offered for children with special
needs.
